One very underestimated way of getting more links to your site is to get hold of out of town Realtors and ask them to link to your weblog or site. The best way to have a Realtor link to your website is to give them a link first. here is the process.

Look around at some of the top Realtors in other provinces, states or even close by cities. Add a link to their website in your site or weblog and then email them letting them know about your link and asking them to add a link on their website to you. One great way to convince another Realtor is by offering them a “web only” referral of 10% for anyone that clicks the link on their site and ends up using you as a Realtor.

Of course this method of referral business is really based on trust and because of this, once you have set it up you will have to keep really good contact with these people. The relationships you make with other Realtors in this digital day and age are a little tougher to keep then in the old days when a thank you card was good enough.
